Ever wanted to experience the Ulster Museum after dark? Now is your chance!

Reimagine, Remake, Replay, in collaboration with Our Place in Space, have been working with a group of 18- 25 years olds to create Absolute Rocket, a free after-hours event in the Ulster Museum on July 1st 2022.

This exciting evening of performances and activities will feature live music by astronomical 3 piece pop punk rock band CHERYM, a live DJ set from Venus Dupree, an out-of-this-world Drag Runway and competition, spoken word prose in many far-out forms by the Stellar Soup Ink and much more.

Expect physics buskers, whacky and wonderful walkabouts, cosmic laser demonstrations, a 90s trance tunnel, virtual reality gaming and make your own tote bag and cosmic stickers stations.

Get ready for a magical night that will take you to the stars.

The event will run from 6.30pm – 10.30pm.

UNBOXED: Creativity is a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of creativity, taking place across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and online from March to October 2022.

We’re lifting the lid on 10 awe-inspiring new ideas, shaped across science, technology, engineering, the arts and mathematics by brilliant minds working in unexpected collaborations.
