Our Place in Space has teamed up with Tenx9 for a very special event where YOU get to tell your story.
Tenx9 is a Belfast born storytelling event where nine people have up to ten minutes each to tell a true story from their own life. For June’s event we are looking for stories along the theme of Our Place.
It can be anything about the place you call home but here’s a prompt:
If we could look back at Earth from the vastness of the solar system, what would we feel? Wouldn’t squabbles look stupid from Saturn? Wouldn’t violence seem senseless from Venus? Forget about ‘Us and Them’, from the perspective of Pluto, it’s just US!
There are no tickets for Tenx9 and admission is on a first-come basis.
The nearest bus and metro stops to the venue are at City Hall 0.5miles away. Both the Belfast Grand Central and Lanyon Place (via Oxford Street) train stations are 0.8miles from the venue. Plan your journey with Translink here.
The closest Belfast Bike point is in Cotton Court and there is a bike rack on Hill Street near the Harp Bar.
The Black Box has level access throughout the whole building from the street and has fitted accessible push-button automatic doors.
There are limited accessible parking spaces at St Anne’s Cathedral 0.2miles away and taxis are able to drop you right outside the front door.
