What's OnBelfast Hills Partnership guided tours of the solar system
Join the Belfast Hills Partnership as they guide you on a journey around some of the solar system on Divis and Black Mountain taking in this beautiful landscape.
These guided tours are a great activity for the entire family to learn more about the Belfast Hills Partnership, explore the solar system, and get the steps up!
Messages from Mission Control:
Each tour will have a different duration and take in different trails along the mountain (See below date and durations)
All activities are weather dependent and may change subject to the forecast.
All tours begin at the upper car park next to the cafe.
Please wear appropriate moon boots and clothing for the weather and terrain giving consideration to the fact that the weather conditions may change suddenly.
You will receive an email prior to your activity date with any updates that will affect your booking.
Weekend Tours
11 June from 9.30am–1pm. 10 km hike of all trails
12 June from 10am–2pm. Lough View and Black Mountain trail
18 June from 10am–11.30am. Lough View and Divis trail
9 July from 9.30am–1pm. 10 km hike of all trails
10 July from 10am–11.30am. Lough View and Divis trail
Evening Tours
14 June from 6pm–6.40pm. Lough View trail (all abilities and family friendly)
21 June from 8.30pm–10.30pm. Summer solstice tour of Lough View and Divis trails
30 June from 7pm–8.30pm. Lough View and Divis trail
5 July from 8pm–9pm.Lough View trail (beginning from lower car park)
