NewsDerry~Londonderry Trail Lift Off Weekend Announced
Say farewell to the Our Place in Space sculpture trail in Derry~Londonderry with an epic weekend of music, dance, film and workshops for all the family at St Columb's Park.
We’ve arranged two space jam packed days of fun in the Walled Garden which will become a hive of activity with outdoor film screenings, musicians, drum workshops, yoga, nature walks and much more. Best of all — it’s all free!
Before you head to our epic closing weekend, don't forget to hop in your space shuttle and take one last spin around our 10km trail before it leaves us on Sunday 22 May!
Saturday 21 May
On Saturday, enjoy performances and workshops during the day from 12pm–5pm and settle in for solar cinema from 5pm to late. From basket weaving, samba bands and nature walks to Muppets in Space, Wall-E and Star Wars...there's something for everyone!
Sunday 22 May
Sunday will feature the best of local music talent, cosmic storytelling, space graffiti... and much more. Bring your best moon boots for some serious space boogieing!
