With talks from global health advocate Chelsea Clinton, award winning actress Caitríona Balfe and artist Daniel Lismore, the festival coincided with the sculpture trail at Divis and the Black Mountain, seeing leading names from across science, music, film and the arts converge in Belfast for a celebration of creativity.
Tune into our Youtube from 12.30pm everyday between 27 - 3 October and delve into a series of videos exploring everything from a communal baseball catch around Belfast's City Hall, to what Our Place means to the speakers.
In 2019, New York based artist Mac Premo recorded a group of people who came together, glove in hand, to have ‘a catch’ around a block in Brooklyn. It was a collective experience designed to inspire joy and comradeship in a local community through one simple movement — the playful act of throwing a ball.
As part of Our Place Festival, Mac and fellow artist Adrianna Dufay came to Belfast to recreate this around our very own block, Belfast City Hall.
Join actor Jamie Dornan, artist Oliver Jeffers, Baroness May Blood and Hugh Odling Smee for a candid discussion of how integrated education has shaped them and how they see it shaping the future of our young people.
